Corporate Profile

Goff Hill Limited is an innovative company developing pharmaceutical agents. The company is on the leading edge of investigations associated with the vast amounts of accumulated data on molecular structures and creative use of information regarding chemical molecules and biological macromolecules. The strategic scientific direction is focused on designing novel candidate pharmacologic agents for a wide range of disorders including primary brain cancers, multiple sclerosis, various viral infections, as well as other neurological diseases.

Barbados has Cooperative Research Facilities, the University of The West Indies, and the cabinet of Barbados recently approved a Bioscience initiative that will see the construction of a State of the Art Research and Development facility that will be made available for lease by start-up bioscience companies at incentive rates, as well as the creation of a regulatory agency to oversee research through animal testing stages, to international standards. The Bioscience R&D Centre of  Excellence will be located in a newly demarcated Bioscience Park.

Goff Hill Limited has designed an agent which will destroy primary brain tumor cells in all phases of the cell cycle. In six weeks an orange size tumor was completely gone. We have a carrier drug which will transport small chemical molecules across the Blood Brain Barrier. These small chemical molecules will not cross the Blood Brain Barrier alone.

Goff Hill Limited has an anti-viral agent that prevents the replication of the measles virus and the viruses of Influenza “A” (H1N1) and Influenza “B” (common flu).

Who We Are

Dr. William G. Tucker - Chairman / CEO

Dr. Tucker completed a three year residency in internal medicine and an additional two years training in haematology and oncology. He then accepted an appointment to the academic teaching faculty in the oncology department of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. At Henry Ford Hospital he was involved in research and drug development supported by a National Cancer Institute grants. He later accepted the Directorship of the Mid-West Oncology Center in Kalamazoo, MI. The Mid-West Oncology Center became a member of the Southwest Oncology Group of the National Cancer Institute.

As a Principal Investigator for the National Cancer Institute, he was involved in the early phase development of many oncologic pharmaceutical agents and was the first physician in the U.S. to have Ifosfamide for developing the clinical use of the drug for the treatment of cancer patients. As a Principal Investigator for Mead Johnson Pharmaceutical, he developed an effective method of administration of Ftorafur. He was Principal Investigator for the Federal Drug Administration and developed a protocol for brain tumors.

In his research laboratory he developed an oral drug delivery system which on first pass bypasses the liver which allowed considerable increase in serum levels for some pharmaceutical agents. This same system was effective in transdermal passage. The patent ran out years ago but this is the system used by the cosmetic companies for topical retinol palmitate.

Goff Hill Limited has an anti-viral agent that prevents the replication of the measles virus and the viruses of Influenza “A” (H1N1) and Influenza “B” (common flu).
